My father is getting up there so he's not as sharp as he used to be. He applied weed b gon to his backyard. The temperature was above 90 so he burned the shite out of it. Whole yard is burned. Is this grass dead? He had st aug. He's talking about throwing down Bermuda seed. This guy takes pride in his lawn like no one else I know. It's absolutely killing him that the grass is brown. Any info on how to get his st aug back would be appreciated.

Haven't cut my grass in over two weeks and I usually cut it twice a week. It's that time of year for it to start dying back.

It's definitely the weed b gon. As long as I've been alive for 26 years he has had green grass. We haven't had a frost to warrant a burn like this yet in Kenner.

Grass typically goes dormant this time of the year and the drought isn't helping. Tell him to water regularly and fertilize with 13-13-13 during the first warm snap next spring. Should be good to go.
