will be chasing white tails with a bow, looking at focussing on some creek bottoms and some choke points. Any local knowledge or info would be greatly appreciated. what would you focus on?

edit: private land with access to bottoms

Very little cover can hold deer. My best Kansas stand was a grown up pasture with cedar trees. It was a bedding area and bucks would cruise through.

Got a buddy up there right now that’s been letting some decent deer walk according to what he is expecting. Good luck baw.

Where are you headed specifically? I grew up in the area.

I hunt Kansas for a week every November. You are hitting it just right this year. I’m going up tomorrow. What city are you close to?
