I talked to someone that used to have a lease south of the border. Said it was a pain in the arse to travel down there with a rifle and ammunition. Only allowed so many rounds etc. Ended up giving up the place due to the hassle. Ya'll have much trouble? I would love to hunt Mexico one day.

Check out rancho El zancudo zorro. I've talked with the owner. Looking at booking a hunt in a few years on his low fence property

Watch out for the cartels and for the federales (I guess they're the same in a lot of places).

We are bow hunting so it's a breeze through the border with bows. Had a good day today. Saw probably 15 different bucks. Only 4 that were mature but a ton of young bucks. They are in the middle of the secondary rut here and they are wide open. It is high fence and I know the feelings on that but 2500 acres high fenced is a little different. Also fence down here to keep the trespassers out.

My brother and 2 of his buddies got thrown in Mexican jail because they decided to drive across the border instead of walking heading to boystown from the ranch. Smuggling firearms is what they tried to charge them with. That was an expensive frick up for them.
