My lab puppy chewed the shite out of the frames. Obviously I'm on the hook if I want the frame replaced, but anyone know about what it'll run? The lenses are still fine.

When you need a "lens" replaced they put two new "lenses" in the frame you sent. Unless the frame has a defect in it in which case you'll usually get a new pair of costas (not likely). Also, that would be the time to change lens colors if you want. If not they'll just replace them with the same color that came out.

On an unrelated note, I sent in a pair of glasses with curved arms, but when they sent my pair back, the 'new' arms were almost perfectly straight. What gives Costa?

This is my form I sent in after I stepped on my glasses. I bent the frame and snapped an arm off, no lens damage.

Mine did the same, just put them on my face like normal and BAM! Hinge broke.

I made some good money doing that in my early 20s

I sent a pair off one time because the lens were coming unglued from the frame. Unfortunately, the frame needed to be changed but the color frame that I had was discontinued. I was forced into choosing a frame color that I wasn't to thrilled about so I sold them in eBay and bought a different style.

I've got some man o wars that the left hinge broke. I think it was just age. The rubber was wearing off both arms too. Is that factory defect?

I'm gonna send them off today. They are probably 5 years old. Lenses are still pristine.

Rubber was peeling off the frames of some old costas I had for 5 years. They said it was a manufacturer defect and told me to pick out a new pair from the website. 12$ and three weeks later I had a new pair of harpoons.

Same thing happened to my fathoms, but they told me it wasn't covered and charged either $60 or 90. Can't remember, but it wasn't cheap.

sent a pair in last week already have them back. They fixed the rubber that was coming off of my frames, and offered to replace my lenses for 90 bucks, lenses were fine so I paid my 11.95 plus shipping. It was very painless.
