Congrats on your new child KR!!!!

If you want some good hollow pernt ammo, Academy is stacked to the gills with Federal Hydrashok in 10mm. The case on 10mm rounds is SO huge. I would hate to be on the receiving end of one.

Again, congratulations bro. A true 1911 man needs at least one 10mm.

The numbers on those hydrashocks arent really so good, as far as 10mm goes. The buffalo bore 180gr hp's at cabelas are top notch.

Considered one of the most unique and prestigious services offered by Colt, the Archive Letter is universally recognized as an unparalleled investment in firearms collecting. The Archive Department will search through Colt’s vast archives to provide you with accurate and documented details confirming the original specifications and delivery of your particular Colt firearm. You will then receive a personal letter outlining all of the fine points of your firearm, written on Archives Department’s distinctive stationary, embossed with the official seal and signature of the Colt Historian.

My FIL has 3 Colt Bisleys and has these letters for them. They are pretty interesting.

Two of the three were sold in the same store in St Louis 2yrs apart.

Yea I don't have one yet either. But I'll have both a 10mm and 357 magnum eventually.
