Handgun: Your EDC (CCW or open)?

It's taken a while to find just the right handgun for my EDC (ccw). I finally decided on Springfield's Hellcat 9mm microcompact with the 11 and 13 round mags. I almost gave up on the idea of carrying a microcompact due to the grips simply being too small and the lack of round capacity, but the Hellcat won me over. The sights are incredibly easy to align, the trigger is better than average, and it's very accurate. Great purchase! LINK

If I feel like living dangerously my Ruger LCP-C .380. Conceal
Open - Springfield XDM in a level 2 ? Alien holster. Has a single push release with your thumb. Feels pretty natural to just push it as you are pulling out the gun.

It really depends on maybe what I'm wearing, and where I'm going. For the most part though, it's either Shadow Systems DR 920, Taurus 856 Executive, and sometimes I'll carry the Springfield XDM Elite.

I open carry a Taurus Mag 44, and I’ve never had anyone mess with me while open carrying that gem.

I switch up my EDC depending on what I am wearing and where I am going. Always carry concealed unless I am teaching a firearms class or just hanging on the range.

Does everyone feel like the modern compact 9mm is the most utilitarian pistol on the planet?
It seems like the Goldilocks combination of carry friendliness, power, capacity. and ammo availability.

For conceal it’s the standard Sig P365. Hides well comfortably. Easy to put on target, sufficient capacity. Fairly priced imo

Most days G19. Occasionally revert back to the Ruger LC9.

Sig P365 x macro with Holosun eps 6 MOA. I have a G42 I pocket carry as well. Always carry concealed.
