Going in about a week, on a guided duck hunt of course. Never been here, much less duck hunting in west Louisiana. Anyone got a report on how the flights been/What i can expect to shoot this time of year if anything at all?

That particular guide service always reports killing birds, but I've never used them personally. They're too expensive for my tastes.

They've got blinds all over. They typically kill a good number of birds

I hunt with them a lot. Was over there right before Christmas when it was warm. Did fair one morning and really well the following morning. They hunt from Hackberry down to Johnson Bayou so you may have a short drive or a 45 minute drive from their lodge. First class operation. You will not be disappointed.

The best way to see how they are doing is check out their website and look at the pics. They update it almost every day. You can also see the types of birds you will probably shoot.

Good luck and You Should Have Been Here Yesterday.

I've never been w/them, but they are a very old/well known operation down there, and I'd think they'd run a first class hunt.

Good to hear. Thank you for the input. I am excited, Have not been able to hunt this season as much as I would have liked, so hoping to have a good one.Always fun to hunt in new locations.
