No not in the barracks there is nothing to kill in the barracks. Also even in Iraq or Stan inside the camps you were to go around unloaded. Again nothing to shoot inside of em, that's why most AD's were at the entrance. Most hunters I know have more gun knowledge than most of these support people in the military. 95% of the people in a combat zone never see it and don't even need to carry.

You drink too much to have a loaded gun Walt.

Neither is there anything to shoot in your camp, or while you're halfway up the ladder of your stand

Yes it's that bad. I have shot a deer while climbing up a stand. Also I said I unload my gun at the camp and load it when I leave.

You carried in combat zone, your more trained than me. I wouldn't shoot while climbing a ladder. I climb way to many of them at work. My goal is to get to the top without falling.

It was a tree climber I usually hang the gun from my neck while I climb.

I know somebody who loaded his gun and shot a deer off a ladder before.

I'm not even looking for deer when climbing. If one comes out I don't want to see it.

Not saying I'm billy badass or anything just when I leave the camp my gun is loaded until I get back. I'm careful and responsible but I'm not a retard, when around people I don't know or kids I unload it. Me and my buddy will have the whole camp to ourselves this weekend I more than likely will not unload my gun the whole time and I see nothing wrong with that.

Exactly! I guess when I checked it and removed the round another went in before I removed the clip. I just pulled the bolt back then dropped the clip and let it go. The guy watched me do it. This is why I never trust a loaded or unloaded gun and I will scold anyone who acts recklessly with one.

I've killed nine this year.

My daughter shot, missed, chambered another round, shot and killed a four point this morning. Her first.

Loaded guns in vehicles are guilty of road hunting in Ms, I think so be careful out there.

Didn't you say something like loading your gun in the stand scares all the deer away so you should keep it loaded all the time?
