Nothing against Zeke's, but find a boat you like and schedule thru the Captain and save the 8/10% Zeke's will charge to book the trip.

good luck! Too many times I see boats coming in and cleaning mackeral! one time I asked a charter captain after the customers walked off....
"You so wrong cleaning those fish for them to eat, do they know any better" The guide answered, "they are from up north, they will take these fish home cook them up and say, we just cant cook fish like them boys down south!" He was sure that would not only make them come back to fish, but for the GOOD FOOD!! They too stupid to even know true southern people dont eat freakin mackeral!

Just bring some poles and crab traps and go fishing by the bridge. You'll save on some overpriced charter catching the same quality fish, and you're not stuck on a boat. At the end of the day you can catch some crabs and shrimp if you bring a net, and that's better eating than anything you'll get on most charters.

ETA: And you may get lucky and catch a shark trying to get to or from the little bay.

Also, one year as a kid I went this time of year(first week in June) and it was shark mating season. They would swim up basically to the shore and we spent the entire week shore fishing. Landed one 6 foot black tip that some animal rights nut made us throw back.

Here's a video of it last year. It lasts about a week and you may get lucky. Sharks

what type of fishing do you want to go do? there are a FEW guides in Baldwin county that could hold their own in South LA.

The 4 guys just want to waste a day while the wifes are at the beach.. Doesnt much matter what we catch, it would be nice to catch something though.

Capt. Boddy Abruscato if you want to go catch some specs, reds, and flounder

ETA: these guys are docked across the bay at Dauphin Island Marina - they would probably come pick you up in Gulf Shores:
LINK The Lady Ann and the Mar-T are the boats that ive known people to go out on. Both have good reps
