Yes, in late February to mid March
Label for Balan says wait 6 weeks after pre emergent is applied before seeding turf grasses. But if you are using the maximum recommended about of pre emergent wait 12-16 weeks.

I know this is a random bump, but there is a lot of good info in this thread so I didn't want to start a new one.
I have a Bermuda grass lawn that was seeded back in April when we moved into our house. It took most of the summer to get a noticeable amount of Bermuda established. I have been fighting Dallisgrass most of the summer but it looks like I also have some Yellow nutsedge as well as some Virginia button weed that has exploded after the rains the past few weeks. Is there any single product that will take care of both the sedge, dallis and buttonweed but not totally burn out the Bermuda? I have read that Certainty works for the sedge and Celsius works for everything else, but that's over $200 worth of products.
I am trying to take advantage of the last two months of the growing period to try and establish as much grass as I can.

I would do a Certainty/MSMA mix for the Dallis and sedge, and metsulfuron (will take more than 1 application this time of year) for the buttonweed.

so since i have been workng on my yard for the past 2 years i would like to say that most of the weeds are gone.......BUT.........a third of my yard is now Bermuda. sedges are growing in it too but i can know them back.
I have slowed the grown by spraying the line between Bermuda and centipede with Sethoxydim. but man.... it is like im not picking up any ground. any ideas besides killing it all and re sodding?

The sethoxydim should be doing it. Ease your way toward the max app. rate. May even wait til daytime temps drop some so that you can spray stronger without chlorosis of the centipede.

i mean it is killing the Bermuda but the centipede isnt grow ing in its spot very fast.
I dont want to kill the whole area at once so other weeds just grow in its spot and it is a mud puddle for my dogs.

Ah, I gotcha. Yeah, that centipede isn't as aggressive as Bermuda when running its stolons and filling in. Make sure you're not fertilizing heavily to try to force it to fill in. Takes time for sure, but seeding/sodding will speed that up if ya get impatient.
