True, but fresh water floats on top of salt water. You might have mud on top, but clear water under.

I think the problem is the late winter and the damn west/south winds. When the weather has been right and tide moving we've been mowing them down out of cocodrie.

Been fishing GI for 30 yrs. Have noticed a huge drop off in the amount of eggs that the fish are carrying this year. We have fileted many trout this summer and few have had eggs. BP? Who knows? Just my 2 cents

Water is so damn mucked up right now nobody is catching much inshore. All I saw at the Marina today was yellowfin and snapper.
