I'm heading down this evening with the kids. Plan on fishing then running crab lines in the surf and fishing on the pier at night. Hopefully we catch enough to entertain the little one. Any reports lately?

People were killing crabs, all we did was catch about 30 trash fish and tiny specks on Elmers.

Saw a few people get stuck, that was entertaining too

I caught some good specks in the surf very first thing in the morning. Talking before daylight, and all on topwater. 30 mins after the sun came up they were gone and even the live bait guys around me couldn't buy a bite. I watched others kill the crabs all day.

My experience Wednesday too.

I fished the sandbar on the pass side where the second fool got stuck. I cannot wrap my mind around how stupid he must be to think driving on that thing is a good idea.

I've seen little Mini Coopers and compacts make it on and off beach. I've also seen a bunch of guys get buried driving like vaginas scared they might damage their rims or their light bars. When you go, you better hit that soft stretch like you mean it if you don't have 4wd.
