If you were staying here what would you target and what bait/technique. Have a boat but it's windy as heck.

Go north young man. Fish have moved into interior lakes and natural bayous. With the falling tides and north wind find some sheltered north bank with drains and fish for reds with spoons and spinner baits. Watch for any open water birds and those trout can be caught using anything under a cork. You can try deeper bends in bayous with shrimp on the bottom . Main thing find cleanest water possible and bait keep moving till you find . Good luck

I'd hit the beach for reds (planning to drive back down soon myself). Mullet on a ff rig.

you know with a north wind you can get to the Elmer's Island area and fish the surf...
