Well seeing as you are a tier 3 OB poster I will assume she's a OB 10. Due to the fact she wants to join you kayaking. Thus I see this as a fine practice to let her use it.

*Note* OB rankings are based 1/10th on looks, 8/10th on outdoorness, 1/10th on posters OB tier ranking.

Didn't get my GF to go kayak fishing with me this afternoon. We elected to go have some afternoon drinks and that turned into

About to take me a few more shots, and hit the bed so I can wake up tomorrow morning feeling like complete death and still catch some bass.

Nice yak Diesel

I've spent too much time on the OB. I can tell by the urge I have to go buy a kayak

ive only stood up in it when getting in/launching and it felt much more stable than my last one but i dont know that i would stand up and fish. I may try this out next time I take it out just to see what its like.

I just got out of my FS10 and I tried to stand up and take a piss and that wasn't happening.

I've done it before in mine but it took every ounce of balance, athleticism, and focus I could find.

You can always build cheap catamaran style outrigger and have all the stability you want.

You may want to look into the Wilderness Systems Ride or Commander.

ETA: I have an Ocean Kayak Caper that I can stand up in. I think I will be able to fish standing up with some practice.

I have a Ride 135. I can stand in it pretty easy.

you can add an outrigger system later if you really want to stand. They arent that pricey and wouldn't be hard to build

buying used. i'm not OB or OT baller. i'm a damn teacher/coach! haha

i'm considering the outer boom set up. just don't know if it's worth all the trouble. if i really want to stand, i can jump out.

(i'm in FL & will be fishing the flats & mangroves & islands.

If fishing the flats, I think a yak you can stand on and sight fish is a must. I just want a yak for some small pond/lake fishing and some close quarter inshore every so often.
