local plant personnel we are getting together for a Saturday or Sunday morning throw down. Hand them a shiny new gun blast some geese, have a drink towards the end and done by noon situation.
I would head to Winnie, TX as soon as duck season closes as possible and hunt with Brian Fischer at Drake Plantation. He is holding good numbers of geese now and does really well the first week or so of conservation season.

Honestly, pretty much all of the guided goose hunts I have ever been on sucked balls...with this hot weather, I wouldn't even consider it. I would opt for a salt water fishing trip instead.

As some have alluded to, your odds of taking clients on a jam up snow goose massacre are actually fairly low down in our area. If that's what you have in mind and really want to have a chance of melting barrels on these new guns, arky or Missouri are best bets. You're probably best off doing fishing trip
Lots of people don't realize that these conservation season hunts rarely go that great

Go to northeast Louisiana
Go to bar get drunk
Stay at hotel
Get up next day
Drive through morehoise parish
Find geese near road
Knock on door of farmers house
Get permission
Creep the geese
Spend hour chasing cripples
Take hero shots with geese
Drive back home
?????
Profit

Found a guide that is more than accommodating and has a really good proven record during conservation season. Has access to over 6500 acres of farm land to put us on them. Went and visited and rode around with him yesterday. Heck of an operation and setup. And geese are tick tick. Thanks.

Don't waste your money on Doug's.
As someone who guided goose hunts back in the lead shot days, through the steel shot era and later ran corporate lodges, If I had to pay to go on a hunt it would be with Doug's or Erik Rue's place.
I've been a guest on 2 hunts at each place and both hunts and our guides were top notch......
third and 4th place ain't even close
