Going to do some bass fishing this weekend and looking to stock up on baits before I head out later today. Any recommendations on bass baits?

Favorite plastic: brush hog in any dark color

Favorite non-plastic: crawfish colored crankbait

I've caught far more bass on a weightless senko than anything else

Great bait. But I've had more luck with a junebug senko than anything else.

That, along with a baby brush hog in watermelon red..and a white spinnerbait should catch any fish you see.

Tequila sunrise curly tail ain't too shabby either.

thanks for starting this thread. Same boat, going fishing in a freshwater lake next week and all I know how to catch is Sea trout, Red fish, and Cafish.

As far as senkos ho, I really like the strike king KVD brand. Called an Ocho.

Bout the same price, but it has flat sides and seems like it reflects light better.
