Go devil grease leak

I have grease coming out the top of the pressure lubricator when filling. No biggie I am replacing. But I noticed grease coming out the shaft near propeller. With no time to spare can I just make sure the lubricator is full before every trip until I can get fixed

Yeah. I ran ours like that for years. Changing that bushing out is a pain if you haven't done it in a while.

Mines been running like that for 8 years. Grease and go.

The packing wore out but as long as you keep it greases and don’t run it much out the water it should be ok
