I've shot one and don't care for it.

Trigger is stiffer than a virgin's dong on prom night.

Like said dong, do you think that will lessen with age?

I just picked mine up a couple of weeks ago. I paid $439 on gunbroker and $20 for my FFL transfer.

I put trijicon hd sights on, swapped the standard glock magazine bases for taran tactical +2 bases and wrapped it with talon grip wraps. With the new bases I can carry 8+1 so I like that much better than 6 and the extra real estate for my little finger makes it feel great to shoot and not akward.

It is the easiest gun to cc that I have used, outside of the pocket .380s. I have a glock 27 and it is much more comfortable to conceal in my opinion. Now the accuracy is not as phenomenal as other 9mm I have shot, the Walther CCP for example, but is by no means bad.

I've shot probably about 3k through it now with no issues at all. I really like it for conceal carry, it's not my favorite truck gun or range gun at all, but for conceal carry it is very hard to beat. I carry in a Kydex holster appendix or 5 o'clock. Normally I don't like appendix but it's small enough that it doesn't bother me at all and absolutely disappears under a t shirt.

Buy it, you won't lose money on it.

Not sure.

It was a rental and the guy said it had quite a few rounds through it.

Which academy? Employee at covington counter verbally quoted the guy next to me $399 for G43 today. Said they were out however. Isnt there a covington academy OB'er here that can fact check this however?

I own one, have put quite a few rounds thru it. I prefer my Shield.

The G43 trigger is stiffer (as it comes from the factory) than a typical "full size" Glock . But you can change out the connector for about $10. It's well worth it - drops about 2 pounds off the pull weight. LINK

A $20 3.5lb disconnect fixes that issue.

I doubt academy is allowed to sell a G43 for 399.

Anymore decent at shooting the G43 at 20yds? I'm not real accurate with it.

I'm not accurate out past 20 yards either, but to be realistic that is not what the 43 is supposed to do.

I carry one
I'm much more accurate with my G23 but I won't carry it
I can hit what I aim at with the G43 so that's all that matters, not punching holes in paper

i don't mind the factory trigger
much better than a LC9 that's for certain

Nice gun a little snappy compared to the FN9S compact, which is a little bigger

I have the fns compact. Love love love the way it shoots but I carry a shield. The fnsc is too big for my summer attire

I'm obviously a glock homer but enjoy my 43. I have the taren plus 1 extender on one of my mags and find it to be a fairly easy shooter for its size

You like light triggers on cc pistols?
