I saw this little .380 and I am considering picking it up and a pocket carry. Anyone have any thoughts on it?

If you read the Internet or glocktalk it's the worst handgun ever created.

In reality I love my G42. It has performed flawlessly with over 500 rnds of various types of loads. If you get a recent model with all the - 1 updates, the 2 stamped on the frame, and the 01 magazines you will be okay. People still report FTEs but all glocks are sensitive to limp wristing and light loads. Since there are no SAAMI specs for. 380 +P just run what you know to be hot loads for the first 150 rnds to ensure reliability.

If you're looking for a pocket 380, check out Kahr and Ruger as well.

Put a little oil on the slide and don't limp wrist it and that gun runs just fine.
I just don't have much use for .380 as a self defense caliber.

It's a really dumb concept, and for good reason.

Here are the downsides:

1. It's a 380 that has competition chambered in 9mm that is dimensionally smaller than it is.

2. It isn't chambered in 9mm.

3. It's not a 9mm.

4. They didn't design it in 9mm.

5. It is slightly large for pocket carry. There are some 9mms that are better for the pocket.

But I will say the one upside:

1. It is good for recoil-sensitive shooters.

That's about it though.

Why get a G42 when you can get a Kahr CM9? If you really want a pocket .380 then get a Kahr CW380.

#1 it's a Glock
#2 Glocks simply work
#3 it feels like a standard glock
#4 it's actually shootable as a pocket gun
#5 it's a Glock

IT'S TOO BIG FOR A .380! And there were some serious quality control issues also.

I'm a big glock fan, but if I was looking at this gun I would also look into th Kahr 9mm. This may be the better option
