Yeah, as much as I loved the idea of a bigger gun I finally had to come to the conclusion that the best concealed carry gun is the one you will actually carry.

See you are the exception to the majority most will not even consider the option and automatically go for the smallest gun. The right way is tonstart out big and and then downsize.

Or, start medium (like a Glock 19), and make accommodations in clothing or holster.

I tried lots of holsters before I found one that really worked. (I have a box full for sale real cheap if anybody's interested ).

A lot of people (not referring to anybody in this thread) give up before making a serious effort, analytical effort. This isn't all bad, because (a) most people never really carry ADED anyway, and (b) the odds of needing a gun are pretty small.

But I'm still in the group that thinks carrying the pistol I shoot best, and having plenty of ammo on-hand, is a better plan than carrying a mouse gun as my primary weapon.

1. Listing them would probably be a code of conduct violation. I'm not really trying to market them.

2. It's been so long, I really don't remember what all we (wife & I) have. I know there are a couple of IWB's (one by Sidearmor) and a few OWB belt holsters. Some are suitable for training classes, others aren't suitable (to me) for much of anything.

My favorite, which is definitely not for sale, is a snakeskin paddle holster. If CCW in church ever becomes legal, it'll be my Sunday-go-to-meetin' holster.

I carried a Glock 23 concealed for years. Never any problems.
