My father had one for 10 years, and he was excellent with the kids and as a pet. He lived to play fetch. He was a great dog. He was the reason I decided to get a German Shorthaired pointer as my own family pet. They like to run and be outdoors as much as possible. However, they want to be as close to me as they can be when they're not playing. I think they are more personable than labs, but that's just my opinion. (I've owned labs, and they're great too)

They will need more time til you know if they are liver and white or liver and ticked. That darker coat times time to come out...

Correct.

In person you can see their ticking under their coat.

Dyslexic, I would love some info on your available puppies if you have any left. I've been looking to get a shorthair for some time now and will be driving through Baton Rouge March 21. Do you still have 5 pups available? I'd prefer a liver/grey in color.
