For those of you in the know: What size hook do you recommend for taking gators? I heard that a 14 would likely puncture a lung, but less than that seems too small. Setting out lines this afternoon and would appreciate some feedback.

Mustads almost big enough to fit a 10oz beer can between the barb and shank. Don't remeber what the number is.
Eta: ill go see if I can find a box later if nobody else gives you a size. They might not be quite as big as I said.
