Building a detached garage and just had the concrete poured. Trying to decide whether or not to put a coating on it, and if so, what kind.
Not too interested in a stain, just something durable and easy to clean.
Opinions? Pics would be great. TIA.

Turned out better than I thought. I think if I didn't put the silica and paint chips down, it would be slippery as hell when it rained

1. Wait at least 30 days for your slab to cure.
2. Is it smooth finish or broom finish? If it's smooth, you'll need to grind off the top layer of smooth cream concrete.
3. Prep prep prep.
Don't use one of the kits from HD/Lowes. Epoxy-coat is decent stuff, but a 3-4 layer system is better. Figure $2-4 per square foot depending on how nice you want it.
