Of an 8 point I call "Newman". (Think Seinfeld)
Snow pic is of him as. 3 1/2

Bottom pic as a 4 1/2

Good daytime comparison pics, which is a rarity on this property.

Yeah. Snow pic was from Jan

Harris County, Ga

Last year he comes by me chasing a doe while I was moving from one lock on to another. Stopped broadside at 30 yds Didnt have a clue I was there. Of course I had arrowless bow in one hand, release in pocket and game cam in other hand (moving it

This year he came by in predawn at 30-40 yds. Following a hot doe. Couldnt see pins yet on bow.

He is aptly named

Interesting. Crab claw on his drivers side it appears at 3-1/2 and it's gone at 4-1/2. Think he grew out of it or is this not the same deer?

Thought so at first too, but not a crab claw. Mains lengthened more this yr than tines grew IMO.
Trust me, same deer
As a 2 1/2 yr old he was an 8 as well. Msde a scrape in front of me at 22 Yds after raising up on his rear legs to rub some branches higher up. All three sightings and both game pics are within 150-175 yds of each other

AUTimbo, the white oaks dropping acorns over in your area? The place I have been hunting is loaded. The deer can just roll over on the ground to eat. Yet everyoneI have talked to in Harris County are saying they aren't seeing much this year. Just wondering why we have so many. FWIW the property I am hunting is by Mulberry Creek and pretty much all hardwoods.

Yeah the White oaks were dropping all over. All the slob hunters sitting on their cornpiles are wondering where the deer are at LOL
Last week during my hunt week down there they were hitting the white oaks hard and in late pre rut/ early rut
Had nine come by Last Fri morning on an oak flat.... All does/ yearlings. Sat morning moved to a tree 50 yds farther from Fri and saw eleven travel through, all but four within 10 yds or less. Spike, 4 pt, button, 6 pt a few does and a nice 8 that was shot/ shot at just after I saw him by guy on next lease. Of course the last deer was a P@Y 8 or 10 pt that froze up at 37 yds from me when wind shifted
But thats bowhunting for you
Was fun watching the first spike make a rub directly below me.

Our lease is in Waverly Hall area off Sparks and Mulberry creek as well
