you could get anything at Steinburg's. I got football helmets and pads, baseball bats, crab and crawfish nets, fishing tackle, tennis shoes, etc. Greatest store ever.

both places were good back in the day but after they closed down I used to go to the Pierre Part store - a coona** walmarks ;) Is it still around - got my 2 yr old a pr of wht boots (cajun reeboks) there

One of the greatest hunters I knew. He had connections all over the country for hunting. I went on a few with him.

Still hunt with the Johnny Stewart call my dad bought me there in the 1980's... Also have a 14ft Gheenoe we bought there.
