I've seen a fox at Burbank and Highland in BR 3 or 4 times over the past few months. He sits on a concrete pad and waits for an opportunity to cross the road. I've never been able to get a good pic of him but here's the best I was able to get.

Yep I agree. State Park guys had a resident fox that hurt it's leg. They livetrapped it and brought it in and my wife amputated the hurt leg. She lived several years at the park after that. They always watched for her tracks in the snow. Foxes are beautiful animals.

We have several behind our house, one used to come up and eat french fries. I was in the backyard one day and a baby Fox ran across the yard and ran straight into the swimming pool. I had to get him out, he looked at me then took off again. I should have tried to raise as a pet.

I had some rabbits nesting in the ferns outside of my kitchen window a few years ago. I woke up one morning and found a baby in my pool. I pulled him out, dried him off, and put him back in the ferns.

The next day, I was sitting outside and the mother rabbit hopped right up next to me and just sat there. Didnt seem scared at all. It was very touching.

Unfortunately all her babies died in my pool within the next few weeks RIP

I had a house near the highland road park. I would see fox often at night running in and out of the park.

I have a fox living on my property and catch it on my trail cams occasionally. They’re fascinating animals. Have you ever heard a fox call? If you don’t know what you’re hearing, it’s a little scary

That’s why it ran into the pool, the mother Fox was calling it, it was running back to find its mother, it just didn’t know there was a pool between it and the mom.

I saw one down the street from my house the other evening. Pretty decent sized red fox.

You have the same camera as all the big foot photos! I live down Tigerbend road. There are quite a few around here too.

We used to have a fox that my beagle liked to run around our house. Fox must have enjoyed it too - several mornings I’d see him just sitting in the backyard waiting for the dog to be let out.

I've had a family of foxes on my property for years. They used to play in my food plots but I haven't seen them in there in a few years. Last winter, when I was trying to trap otters, I caught one in a conibear trap. The trap should have killed it but for some reason it didn't close all the way around his neck. I put gloves and a thick hoodie on and I had a good talk with the guy before I let him out of the trap. Told him I would let him out if he promised to not eat my face off. Spent several minutes up close and personal with him. He was pretty calm and let me free him then took off like a shot.

The only problem I had was that my lab wanted to be friends with the fox and kept getting him stirred up when I was trying to release the trap. I would have to take a stick and throw it into the pond for the lab to retrieve just so I could have a few moments to get the trap released.

Red foxes seem to live closer to people than grey foxes.

We have a bunch of grey foxes on our deer hunting place in Lincoln Parish and see them almost every hunt. They are really cool animals to watch. They probably eat more corn than the deer do. Lol

First time was at night on my back porch having a drink. The fox couldn't have been more than 50 feet into the dark woods behind my house. I thought it was an escaped mental patient screaming like a banshee. I ran inside, got my shotgun and loaded it, got another beer, and went back onto my porch to defend my family.

Then a couple more, but there were two of them, one up close like the first one, and another maybe 50 yards away. Once I realized it was some kind of animal, I felt better.

A few minutes on google and youtube verified that I was no longer being invaded by demonically posessed zombie banshee witches.

I have trail cam video of a gray fox barking multiple times. Don’t know how to post a video here.
