On the backside of the island at 4 bayou pass. You really can't miss it.

Any hope this fricking wind lets up? Weather.com lists 5-10 for the rest of the weekend, looking out the window and not seeing 5-10.

The forecasts are all over the damn place. I've seen some that say 5-10, others 10-15.

Figures. I'll wake up Saturday and see what it looks like. Taking the bossman redfishing tomorrow so I'm not real worried about it.

I'll use that. Fishing 101, always take the best report and disregard all others.

Thanks!

I am on the island now. Been here since Tuesday night. Today was the first day the wind started to lay down. Last 2 days have been a horrible East wind. Gulf was like chocolate milk and rough.

Fishing out of a black over white Blue Wave. Hoepfully the gulf will start to calm this evening.

Yeah been here since Monday. East wind has been a bear. Front is rough as hell, back has been a heavy chop. We tried to get through Barataria pass but turned around. Went to leeville yesterday and fished the west side of bayou Lafourche. Did pretty good considering the conditions.

Gonna head out in a few and give it another shot. Winds dying some and but still rough in the back.
