It's a Smith and Wesson 29-3 3". It was a special order gun by Lew Horton distributors in 1985. Only 200 were ever produced. I found this one on GB yesterday. It's NIB and on the way to my FFL. This is one of those once in a lifetime finds that becomes an heirloom. I am not a safe queen gun guy but going to make an exception in this case.

It was $1500 which is a pretty good deal. There hasn't been one that is NIB come up for sale since 2009 that I could locate.

It better be a safe queen because that thing would be a bitch to shoot anyways.

I don't think it would be any worse than a 329PD. Shooting a 44 mag that weighs in a 25ozs is like hitting your hand with a hammer.

Awesome gun. Not sure if it'd cause more damage on the ears or wrist.

Does not compute. There is no 29 in .357 magnum.

I can understand with this one. I like my wrists too much to shoot that thing.

I would enjoy the $1,500 sitting in the safe as much or more.
