I am needing a few estimates for my home that was damaged in the flood. I have called all the contractors I was recommended and only got one so far. Do any of you have any contacts that I can try?

<---- @gmail if you would like.

I would guess between, 65000 and 80000. But thats just a guess. Let me see if I can get you some numbers to try.

Thanks, I got 10" of water and not expecting it to be that high but right now you never know. I just need estimates at this point to gauge my insurance company. No real rush to get the work done as I can make it livable in a few weeks as long as I can get on someones schedule for repairs.

well, then you could be looking at less. Im really just guessing. I know a guy who had a 3000 sq ft and they wrote him a check for I believe 132000. so maybe you're more around the 40000 to 60000 range

That's where I was thinking I was at. Max 50K but more around 40K.

Not sure if this helps but I got a quote for the same size house for 40k for the following:

Drywall: hang tape finish texture (40 12x4 sheets)
Paint all walls
Install only for wood tile in approx 1,000 SF
13 Doors/frames installed
400 LF of baseboards and quarter round
Reinstall Caninets/granite and sinks for kitchen and bathrooms.
Tile my shower

I didn't have flood insurance and I found that to be ridiculous so I ended up lining all the subs up myself to save some cash, and saved 10K

Its gonna be tough finding one right now, epecially a decent one. I have a couple neighbors that do remodels. Let me get their info and I'll text it to you. I can't speak for their work but they are both good honest guys.

ETA: Texts sent

I would think $30k-40k. Based on RSMeans and this area for that little water. 4' sheetrock and everything below. Shouldn't be more than $30/sf
