Thrunite TN12. Best flashlight I've ever had at half the price of a Nitecore or a Surefire. Over 1000 lumens and can fit comfortably in your pocket. Here is a comparison of popular flashlights. LINK

Is there anywhere locally that sells thrunite? I just did some searching on YouTube and google and they're pretty impressive lights and cheap too.

What do you consider powerful? How much do you want to spend? How much trouble do you want to deal with in terms of batteries or recharging? Are you more concerned with beam throw or having an intense flood for a wide area?

Left to right is a 4Sevens Preon P1, Surefire G3 w/KX4 head, Fenix PD35 2014 Edition, and a 4Sevens Maelstrom MMU. The Fenix is rated at 960 Lumens max, the Maelstrom is 800 Lumens max, the G3 is about 200 Lumens, and the Preon is 70 Lumens.

A man who knows his lights. It's just like a firearm addiction - you'll find yourself wandering aimlessly about unless you follow advice like this.
