In all seriousness, get a good headlamp. Keep an extra flashlight on you for backup.

Posted by tenfoe I usually treat myself to a new light every deer season. Got this one last year, and it's the best medium sized light I've ever had. I've had a stinger, and this one is better. It's been nearly 12 months, used often, and still haven't changed the batteries. I give it 5 stars. My pop and brother were so impressed they each went and bought one, and they are two people that can afford any kind of light. Coleman LED

Ditto, use mine for duck hunting and wanted to get something on the cheap in case it goes for a swim. Surprisingly bright for the price you paid

Streamlight gets my vote.

My brother has a Nebo Redline that's pretty bright and cost him around $30.
