Looking at a house in the mid city area that needs some major renovations. Does anyone have recomendations for a contractor who would come in and walk through the house and make plans with you somewhat like some of those hgtv shows do?

Its in Mid city. Walked in it today and it needs some major work. Possibly needs to be stripped to studs. Water heater leaked so warping all in the ceiling and walls No master suit. Kitchen needs to be redone. Floors need to be stripped and waxed. No telling what electrical looks like. Would need outdoor partial fencing. Im fairly certain the house is leaning. Its a 5 bed 3 bath house. Over 3k square footage. Has potential to be an incredibly awesome home But just not sure what renovations like I mentioned would run.

I'm not the guy but the sounds like a fortune. But if its a good deal it could work out in the end.

OP, pay a very good home inspector to come in. Then, add 20% more for cost to rebuild. Redoing old houses can make or break you quick.

A complete gut and rehab will cost you $150k.
