I have fished southeast La. extensively, but I have never bothered to try Venice. I have a 20ft Bay boat, and I want to know if anyone can give me some tips about fishing the east side. I know that you do not want to give away your honey holes, but is the system of canals off Baptiste Collette productive for trout and reds during the fall? Thanks for your help.

IIRC most canals and ponds around Baptiste Collette are posted but I mostly fish the west side

Lots of fish able area there but MOST of the cuts have sand bars and some rocks across them be very careful going in many of them.
