Fishing shirts

Always wore pfg......but lately Magellan had been stepping up their game.
Bought an under armour one the other day and actually prefer it over the pfg.
Side note, has anyone ever actually used the little Velcro strap for anything? Isn't it to hold a rod or something?

How Salt Life are you bro???
I've always been a Columbia guy. But the last few I have bought were Magellan's, GC - the Bucce's brand, and got an Under Armour for Christmas....
Velco strap is to hold rod when changing lures/ baiting hook. Any worth OB'er knows you never change a lure while fishing, bring a rod for each lure.... Used it once, got poked in eye....

not at all I thought that was what that was for....who the frick wants a rod attached to their chest to change a lure. Wade fishing I guess? Makes no sense in a boat.

I use it to hold my sunglasses if I'm wearing a pair without a strap and need to take them off.

I stopped wearing the traditional fishing shirt. I prefer long sleeve UV blocking polyester ones. Keep me nice and cool in the summer.
