I fished out there a couple years ago. Crushed em. Caught a two man limit of ladyfish.

Im always on the FM side, but I would imagine that the surf fishing is the same.

Circle hooks and egg sinkers. I use live (dead) shrimp, cut squid, cracked crab are all foolproof.

Just haul off and launch that sucker, ease on back and you will have something.

Redfish, trout, black drum, blacktips are all in that bar area.

If the water is calm you can use some artificials, top dogs, stuff like that.

A few years ago one evening thousands of ladyfish were running the beachline. My brother had a fly rod and wore that arse out it was pretty cool.

Inshore is Slow right because now but cobia fall run is underway, and buddy killed dauphin on rip only 8 miles out last weekend, Kings all over, triple tail are hot.

The water is too hot for this time of year and we desperately need a cold front and trout are in transition but I would try Cca 1 and 2 flats around Katrina cut, and the shoals all in early am surfcasting with live shrimp and or electric chicken mr 51s.

Bobby aberscotta always catches fish as far as guide is concerned. Tell him friend of Dorgans recommended him

Wick is who u need. Fish have been all over mouths and into fowl and dog river but buddies I have there didn't do anything last two days. ( when I was supposed to join them) lol

Look at Ez fish and wells for tide forecast. This is best source I have found for info. LINK

Here is bobby website: LINK

I really might go offshore if they can get u on that rip. Night fishing which is a lost art in bama is also hot for those that know how to do it. Find a deep hole off a flat and put out 3 to 6 rods with live croakers, cracked crab, live shrimp etc. best tides are running at night right now. If u have portable green light u r golden

My Brother lives there. I was supposed to go this weekend.

Katrina Cut on the West end at the public beach. Another good spot is behind the golf course. You can pay to park there and access the beach. Also have a bar/cafe you can access.
