It's a small jack of sorts. Maybe a jack cravelle, I would put it back. It'll be nasty

We threw them back. Caught a bunch with a McDonald's straw that someone here recommended.

Surf fishing noobs but having a good time.

Yeah blue runner. You could eat it, few fish you can't eat. But I wouldn't eat it it's in the jack family. Good shark bait when there's no one in the water.

Use a spoon or flashy lure and you'll catch those and ladyfish non stop anytime the tide is moving
