Firewood anyone?

I have two fairly good sized oak trees in my front yard that need to go in the near future. They are too close to the house for my liking and I don't want to push another hurricane season out of them. Is there anyone out there that wants to help take them out for the firewood? I'll be there to help and don't want any of the wood. I just can't see paying someone $2000 to cut them down and haul them off when I'm sure there are plenty of people that could use the wood.

People normally get firewood after the tree is dropped they don't normally come in and cut the tree in exchange for the firewood...

I'd come look at it if it was already on the ground.
I'm not touching anything close to someone else's house.

Now if any of y'all fell some god size pine trees and want to give the logs away, I will take them.

You're one of than trusting type folk aren't cha? Not terribly worried about how blow dropping an oak across your double wide? I think I would demand insurance before letting someone loose with a chainsaw on a tree close enough to the house to hit it.
