Compare? Throw the fish back and buy a scale instead of a filet knife.

You sure that's four and 1/2??I'm thinking closer to three.
You can see the OP's is a much bigger fish than yours.

Not me Ditship, and approximately same size fishes. But to answer your stupid question, yes my arms are actually longer and I can get really close to the camera as I am both lean and agile.

Anytime someone posts about the best knife for filleting 7lb bass I suspect an ulterior motive.

All you need..... people who clean fish and cook for a living use them. They easy to sharpen and keep and edge pretty good.

I actually do like the Rapala knives but having not been exposed to the other knives I may not know how a good fillet knife should work. I also like the American Angler electrics.

Y'all obviously know nothing about Bass weights. Gary's "Ranger" visor makes that fish heavier than it looks.
