What's the OB's favorite stuff to take out when you're going offshore fishing all day?

Go to winn-dixie, get a box of fried chicken, put it in a gallon ziplock, stick it in the ice chest and enjoy

Does anyone know the origin of the "bananas on a boat" curse?

Had a story on it last week on Discovey (I think)

The banana boats were notoriously over loaded. So naturally they sank often.

on overnighters we usually pack pizza, fried chicken, or cut up poboys

However, a couple times when fishing a rig at night we have had steaks/shrimps/crawfish sent down to us in exchange for fish by friends of the captain
