I tend to go: toast, sometimes bacon, coffee(have to stay awake), and an energy drink for the ride.

Most of the time before I go to the stand I just eat a couple pieces of toast or an apple or orange, we do the big breakfast around 8:30 or 9 when folks start showing back up to the camp.. I may need to start trying an energy drink before I leave headed to the stand

It helps. I recommend green monster.

Holy crap. I've never been out of the stand before 9 unless I've shot a deer. Couldn't imagine getting out early enough to show up at the camp for 8:30.

2 cups of coffee and a smoke. Get the morning growler done. Two biscuits with butter and Steen's. Head out and kill. Eat big for lunch.

I really thought you were some sick person who ate possum. I mean I know a lot of old timers eat some crap that no one here would touch, but that's besides the point.

No, frick no, I'd never knowingly eat shite. I know what you mean though about those old folks and the stuff they eat, those old farts were nasty SOBs I hear stories all the time about the stuff they'd chow down on

If Old Geauxt ever makes it to this thread he will tell us a story about how his dad and him used to eat cow balls.
