Faux Finish on Concrete Patio Suggestions?

Just repainted my pool/patio concrete deck, and I don't like the color. It came out as a light gray, which is not what it was supposed to do. Will talk to pool distributor that I bought it from about that...
Anywhoo, I'm thinking while I'm repainting, I'd like to do something like a faux "leather". Leather is the best word that I can come up with what I want. Kinda like the stained concrete you see in houses these days.
It's painted, so I don't want to strip and paint... and it has a "cool deck" texture that I want to maintain.
Any expertise to share on painting like I'm trying to describe? Searched youtube/google, but not much success on that route yet.
