They are dirt cheap compared to the other guys in town. I say other guys meaning guys that are competent (Light line (nothing but bad things to say about them) and Searchers (nothing but great things to say about their custom work but very $$$)).

I just didn't have this experience at all with them. A+ to talk to and work with, but they came in right at $450 like I said and light line was 438 or something. So they were all relatively close.

Are you comparing apples to apples? Same spacer or same shocks? Light line outsources their alignment. What happens in a month if it starts to pull? I recall light line pushing daystar real heavy. I don't even think CSC carries daystar, and for good reason.

Except that you have to use the weight of the truck to compress the spring since it is now longer.
I am assuming someone putting the truck on jackstands and having the jack free to use. You don't even have to undo the lower strut mount

If you can unscrew a nut and hit something with a pickle fork, you can do it

Light line has the 2" day star, CSC had the 2" zone level.

I would go with the zone because no cutting of the studs is required like with the daystar. It is just a spacer. They are are basically the same

Don't go to Light Line, take it from a former employee

Yeah, I'm not going to either one right now. I'm probably going to buy the Auto Spring 2" kit online, and try to get a friend to install it.

Csc is where I would go.

But hell, I'd do it for half of what they're asking and some beer

I really would like to go there, but 250 for labor is insane from what I hear.

You're getting jacked on the install pretty bad. I could do it without air tools in 30 minutes. Normal shop charges are $75/hr.

Jack up truck
Take tires off
Unbolt sway bar
Pop upper ball joint loose
Unbolt struts
Bolt spacers on
Do the reverse of what you just did

On a scale, it is probably a 2 out of 10 for hardness. A 1 out of 10 would be changing your air filter

yes that is all you do but for the first time doing it, it takes a lot longer than 30 mins.
