I've been looking at the AO and polar bear for a while now but haven't pulled the trigger. I found the Igloo marine 36 can this morning at the Walmart on Pinhook in Laffy on clearance for $21. I figured I'd give it a try for a while.

Love my polar bear. I have the 24 can size, thinking about getting a few more in various sizes. Holds ice for 24 hours no problem.

I have had a Fishpond cooler for years and it still looks new. I think it has a lifetime warranty.
If it is turned upside down it will leak.

It is leak proof, however if it gets tossed around and upside down water will come out of the zipper. Kept right side up it is solid.

That igloo one is for sure worth $21.00. It doesn't leak but they over advertise how much insulation they have and the zippers aren't too good. But, a deal at $21

I have a polar bear and like it a lot. I use it instead of my roadie 90% of the time. Only gripe is that I don't like the envelope style opening. I wish it had a 3 sided zipper.

I like Ice Mule. Used mine yesterday. Put cold water and cold beer in it with ice at 4am. Tossed it in the boat and went fishing. It sat in the sun all day and got opened a bunch. Held ice for about 10 hours. Usually it holds ice for longer if I keep it covered and out of the sun.
