EPIC center console bay boats

Epic was making ski and wakeboard boats for a while. I just heard that they are making center consoles and have been doing so for about 3 years.
Anyone have any experience with them or anything good to say? A friend of a friend may be selling one soon, and i'm in the market. Just not sure about the Epic name yet.
Any help appreciated.

Pretty sure they are different companies.

They have the ski boats listed on the same website. Not sure if those are the same boats the OP is referencing.
Those bay boats look pretty slick, though. Haven't seen many in the water.

Didn't know they made ski boats. Thought I remember reading there was another epic that made high quality ski boats. Maybe not.
I think the epic bay boats are just an entry level boat. Look great but have fit and finish problems. If I were in the market, I would probably spend the money and try to find a more proven brand that was a few years old.

They have terrible reviews but they have sharp lines.
