Sold that baby and couldn't be happier. Feels good man. Checking out the boat game a while until I get a better set up on a lake somewhere.

So, your wife made you sell your boat and now you're trying to convince yourself it's for the best.

Going off of the premise of "there are only two good days of owning a boat: the day you buy it and the day you sell it."

I feel ya, to some extent. I just sold our bay boat last week...mixed emotions. It was weird watching someone drive away with your boat but happy to start shopping for something a bit bigger.

I sold my Bass Cat back in October and I will tell you "IT SUCKS"!!!!!!!!! I hate not being able to hook on and go when I feel like it. I'm relegated to fishing when buddies can go or slipping off to a pond somewhere and it's major suckage!

New boat will be ordered in January and it cannot get here fast enough.

Agree, was tough to watch someone hook on and drive away with a boat that I had many good memories in, but on the other hand stopped a financial drain that wasn't making sense with as little opportunity as I have to get out anymore. Of course as soon as I listed it all the DFW lakes started filling back up. But good riddance and time to do something stupid with the proceeds.

Never sell a boat until you have a replacement.

This was the main problem...little ones and work can really slow things down on the fishing end of life.
That being said, I can't wait for the little ones to grow up just a bit so I can start taking them out on the water.
I know I'm certainly going to buy...just giving it a year or two out of the water.
