Picking up the cameras for the end of the season. Bring this up on the first photo. Guess he can wait another year.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I'll be putting a few cameras out in the next few weeks and see what we have that survived

Yeah definitely a good idea. Bucks might simmer down after everyone leaves the woods.

My Primos didn't survive the freeze, so they can't take 3 days below freezing in Louisiana, but they work in Canada.

It's a "dry" freeze

I usually do it every year. At the end of the season and all the vegetation is gone and the ground has been wet its very easy to identify trails. I like to put a few cameras on these trails and on scrapes and leave them a few months. Every year I get new mature bucks on camera. I don't know if they show up because ours have been killed and they moved in on the new territory or if they chased a doe to our property and find it suitable and just stick around but its always fun to see and keeps me excited for the next season

Same here. Our rut isn't really over until mid feb and them being run down combined with the lack of browse makes it the best time to get pics of bucks. Easier to move through the woods and all the sign is still there. I plan on scouting pretty heavily this year.

Before the water came up it was easy to see the trails so I moved my cameras so some new areas down the trails. Got some big bucks but they were cruising so the pictures were blurry. Here are a few but nothing great

That would be a tough one. Especially only being misdemeanor theft.
