I hope the water in Cocodrie is better than it was last Friday. Everything was muddy, and I only talked to one boat that had one fish. I saw a couple but couldn't get anything to hit.

Water was muddy at shite last weekend. Couldn't find any clean water.

"Tried" to fish Lake Boudreaux in the mud boat. Unfortunately for me, it was 2' chop with a nasty cross wind. By 6:30 I was completely soaked and decided to turn around and go duck off in the marsh without a trolling motor. Wind never gave up, so I caught 2 fish on 2 bites before I said screw it and headed back in at 10ish. Not really how I envisioned this morning going, but whatever it's still nice being out on the water alone.

What a miserable day as far as wind and muddy water goes. Caught 6 trout 5 reds and 1 flounder this morning.

I didn't try, I did. Ran to calliou nova to bait boat, to last isle reefs, then to timbalier. Got our arse wet as hell. But my little mako held up well.
