I know them from like high school I think if they haven’t switched hands. They are have been around forever and good group to fish with.

Went with them about ten years ago. Three nights I believe, 12 guys in our group. Had a blast, fed well, caught plenty.

I went with them a while back. My only beef with the Captain and Deckhand was that they didn't do a great job at giving you tips on where to start or areas to fish. They kinda just blindly point in different directions and say "I don't know, maybe over there?" Considering the islands are unfamiliar to most of us, a little more guidance would have been cool. Not looking for them to tie my lures or take the fish off the hook. Just areas to key in on/best practices.

I used to work on a boat out there. All i'd say is that area gets so much pressure now. I ran through there this weekend and i think there were 16 mother ship operations, plus the islander.

That's pretty much what went on when I went on the Diversion. I really didn't mind.

We must have had the same crew, we were able to get them to “guide” is in the right direction and got on a good trout bite, total opposite area where we had been trying on our own

Way more pressure than you’d think. I have been out there 5-6 times in the past 2 years, and we rarely did well. It’s getting to be overfished, but then again I might just suck at fishing. No denying there are tons of motherships now.

ETA- Due South gave us minimum info on where to fish, but “it’s all the same” at a certain point out there. Grass beds, deeper cuts, and sand flats. You can only go so far in the boats and gas tanks they provide.

Was there last weekend and this is absolutely true.

In addition to that there are private boats that make the run too.
