Ducks Unlmited Continental Shoot Nevada

Thought about going , sporting clays and Vegas could be fun. The hotel they have partnered with for the shooters has a strict no firearms on the property rule. Say what? And the club hosting the shoot has limited lockers available.
So far only a couple hundred have signed up. I would think these are shooters within driving distance since they have nowhere to safely store the guns.
What were they thinking

Could be worse, it could be the shooting range that was a gun free zone. I get what you mean though.
I have talked to a couple DU guys over the last couple years about the future of the company and how they are dealing with the “New Age Biologist”. A lot of them are not coming from a hunting background and are coming more from an Animal Planet background. I was told that they are dealing with it, but they are doing their best to weed them out and to make sure the “New Age Biologists” know without hunters there won’t be a job for any of them and there wouldn’t be any money for habitat improvements or future habitat improvements.

A friend of mine daughter has a masters in wildlife biology. She's a big hunter and she just started her first real job as a staff biologist at a major government level wildlife agency.

My son is a forestry major at state and says most biology majors there know jack crap about hunting etc.
