I was headed to marsh, but need to go see parents. Catahoula is a bust but hear Toledo bend is holding a few birds. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Grew up hunting Catahoula so I'm familiar with hunting big water. Just want a few tips. Thanks in advance.

No Idea there other then fishing. Looking at the radar pushing hard, watch the weather in open water.

Hard north wind on Toledo will be tough. Be careful out there.

OleBallCoach? I am sure he will give out pointers though on a public lake.

OB meet up at Circle Drive. They're thick as flys boys.

Well with that call restriction, several guys from Mola can't go with me. What about jerk cords? Can I build a blind anywhere or is there rules like Catahoula?

Does it matter whether you hunt Texas or Louisiana side as far Licenses and regulations are concerned.

Yes. Got to have a license for whatever state you're hunting in. Fishing license reciprocate though.

Say I launched in La, and hunted in Texas. I'd be required to have both licenses in case I got checked at blind and at the landing?
